Constraints
Definition
Constraints define what the system is structurally prevented from doing.
They are architectural protections, not preferences.
They are not configurable. They are not optional. They are foundational.
Why Constraints Exist
In high-liability environments, unintended authority creates exposure.
Systems that blur documentation, identification, and escalation increase structural risk.
SafeScope enforces constraint so that:
- Authority does not expand unintentionally
- Identity is not inferred without explicit structural role
- Escalation cannot occur implicitly
- Duty is not created through software logic
Constraint Enforcement
Constraints are embedded in:
- Data model design
- Permission architecture
- Storage structure
- Export mechanisms
Governance is enforced through structure, not training.
